libcvm1-dev software package provides Credential Validation Modules (development files, documentation), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcvm1-dev
libcvm1-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcvm1-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcvm1-dev *
You will get with libcvm1-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
